Welcome to the Lab!
The Spatial Media Lab is hosting our next meetup! The goal for this meetup is to bring people in the field of spatial media together to connect and discuss, to improve the quality of the work and expand the tools that are created. As this meetup is non-hierarchical, we will simply host the space and discuss what we are working on and then let the night flow. If you have something you’d like to present, please reach out to us in advance!
The theme of this meetup is Discussing Best Practices. In this meetup, we want to hear about your workflows, pipeline, and learnings. Regardless of whether you are making immersive installation art, spatial media for film and advertising, sound for games and VR, or 3D music, we want to hear from you! Whether you’ve been working in the industry since the 80s or you’re still studying at Uni, we can all learn something from one another’s experiences. Come prepared to bring some ideas and take some away. We can’t wait to hear from you!
